Digital Marketing Executive

General Description:
We are a marine oil & gas and energy infrastructure entity with presence in Malaysia, Singapore, North America and Middle East. As Digital Marketing Executive, you will work with a lean marketing and sales team as well as all other departments to create digital contents related to products and services, recruitment and employee engagement, investors relation and overall company brand promotion on the gamut of digital media.

Scope & Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, manage and oversee digital content for various digital media, including company official website, company e-mails, B2B platforms (Alibaba.com, Offshore Support Journal, etc.) and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, etc.).
• Create weekly and monthly digital content to promote company brands on various digital media.
• Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various digital media.
• Create monthly e-Newsletter for internal circulation.
• Create and distribute festive greetings to targeted clients and business contacts.
• Create and distribute content such as blogs, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets.
• Research digital marketing trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities.
• Determine a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g. HR team for recruitment postings, IR team for corporate announcements, legal department for legal implications of published contents).
• Copywrite and proofread for brochures and digital contents.
• Graphic design for brochures and digital contents.
• Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience.

Work Experience Requirement:
• 3-5 years of social media management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.
• Knowledge and understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and internet ranking for web content.
• Good understanding of social media KPIs.
• Familiarity with web design and publishing.
• Photography and graphic design experience preferred.

Qualification Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Public relations or related field.

• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Proficient in English, Malay and Chinese preferred.

Work Location/ Travel Frequency:
• Kota Kinobalu, Sabah, Malaysia, or KL (KL would have to work remotely)- No frequent travel expected.
